Dear Friend of the Border Book Festival,

We are selling the following Science and Geology collection that was donated to us by a festival friend, John Randall, rare and out of print book dealer from Albuquerque.

The estate came from the collection of Dr. Sherman A. Wengerd.  Dr. Wengerd was a Professor at the University of New Mexico and is highly regarded in the field.

Dr. Wengerd received The Sidney Powers Memorial Award, the highest award given by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists. The citation for the award reads: “Sherman A. Wengerd, dynamic, enthusiastic teacher of geology, trailblazer researcher particularly of the Paradox and San Juan basins region, and practical petroleum explorationist, with exemplary service for AAPG and many other geologic societies, as well as a strong advocate of professionalism and industrial petroleum geology.”

If you are interested in purchasing the entire collection, please contact us.  Individual books are also for sale at the price quoted.  We accept payment in cash, credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or money order.  Appropriate shipping will also apply.
