2006 Border Book Festival "RE-IMAGINING THE BORDER"

Join us for the 12th annual Border Book Festival, Re-Imagining the Border/Re-Imaginando La Frontera, April 21-23, 2006, as we look at the U.S./México border, that 2,000-mile area that is a place of constant change and potential. How do people live with borders and on the border? What purposes do borders serve? What then, would happen if we re-imagined our world borders, our concept of who we were and are within our current borders?
The Border Book Festival is one of the nation’s most unique and well-loved book festivals because of the energy and power of its readings, panels, workshops, literary and storytelling events for all ages as well as its Trade Show, Libros y Más, that attracts presses, authors and presenters from throughout the U.S. and México.
